Underguide
In an underguide system, the tracks are on the underside of the coping (overhanging edge) or embedded into the pool wall. The track can also be more subtly integrated using encapsulation.

For existing pools, the cover can be recessed into the deck and covered with an aluminum lid (or a walkable stone lid) with cover guides mounted to the deck.

For existing pools, the mechanism can be built above the deck in a functional deck. The deck can be made of any desired material to fit your needs and aesthetics. The cover guide, as with the recessed topguide system, is mounted on the deck.
